Calvin study group
The 2009 Calvin study group concluded the reading and use of Princeton's web site this past Tuesday and is now moving on to reading The Confessions of St Augustine for our next reading and discussion topic.  Those interested in joining the group are welcome.  We meet the first and 3rd Tuesday's each month from 7:30-9 PM.  Please contact Alan and Nancy Smith (654-9477 alan.nancy.smith@att.net) or Mike Samson for more information.

Peace-Building Program in Israel/Palestine - February 18th

Reverend Joan Deming, a United Methodist pastor from Madison, Wisconsin will be at PCW and will speak about peace building in Palestine/Israel on Thursday, February 18, at 9:30 a.m. in the Christian Lounge.

Rev. Deming serves as Development Director for Pilgrims of Ibillin, an American nonprofit that supports peace in the area. Her presentation will highlight the story of Archbishop Chacour and the Mar Elias Educational Institutions founded by Fr. Chacour while he was the parish priest in Ibillin to “Build Peace on Desktops.”

The program is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to hear an update about issues in the area.
