Sunday's Scripture Readings will be from James 2:1-9.
The Reverend Dr. Raymond Roberts will be preaching and the theme for this week's sermon is Practical Advice from James: Gold Rings and Tattered Rags.

SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERINGS FOR CHILDREN -
9:15AM - Pre-K to 5th Grade
10:30AM - Discovery Kids. For children 2 years through 2nd Grade.

Triangle/Inquirers' class, Exploring Your Faith will meet in the Christian Lounge. This week's discussion is going to be led by Reverend Helen Beglin.
Questers - This self-led group continues their study in the Lounge Annex. Come join us!
What's God Up To? A new video-based class being led by Alice Davenport in The Robinson Room.


SATURDAY MORNING MEN'S FELLOWSHIP - There will be a great breakfast, interesting discussion and wonderful fellowship! Join us on May 3rd at 7:30AM in Assembly Hall!

On SUNDAY, MAY 4TH, there will be a combination JOY Luncheon with the 50-Year Members' Luncheon after the 10:30AM Service. The 50-Year Members will first meet for a Continental Breakfast at 9:30AM in Assembly Hall and then participate in the 10:30 Service. Afterward, back in Assembly Hall, there will be a delicious luncheon and a chance to share lots of great memories and fellowship. If you are a 50-year member and have not received an invitation, please call the Parish Office and let us know.

PARTY IN THE PARK! All youth, grades 6-12, are invited to the annual Party in the Park: Middle School 4:00-6:00pm & High School 5:30-7:30pm. Don't miss out!

PARKINSON'S SUPPORT GROUP UPCOMING EVENTS:
People with Parkinson's disease and/or their caregivers are invited to join us for two upcoming events:

Monday, May 12 - A Walk in Mindowaskin Park. Come exercise with us. Meet at the bandstand at 1:30 pm, where there will be refreshments and chairs set up. Walk at your own pace and distance. If there are any members of the congregation who would like to volunteer to be walking companions for some of the members of the group who use a cane or walker and may be a little unsteady on their feet, please contact Barbara Ringk at 908-322-9214. In the event of rain, we will meet in the Christian Lounge and show a video presentation of Dr. David Heydrick's presentation The Parkinson Pyramid at the April 2007 NJ-APDA annual conference.

Monday, June 9 - The annual luncheon will be held at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse on North Avenue in Scotch Plains at 12:30 pm. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required and are now being taken. Deadline is June 3. Contact Barbara Ringk at 908-322--9214.

SAVE YOUR JUNK for the upcoming Attic, Garage, Trash To Treasure, Shabby to Chic, Yard Sale being conducted by The Presbyterian Women. In lieu of their rug sale, they are planning to have the event in the Church parking area with lots of fun, excitement and festivities. So help them out and save your items!! More details will follow!

CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 3 IS AVAILABLE IN THE CRIBBERY from 8:00am - 11:30am for parents who are attending worship and taking classes. The Cribbery is located in the lower level of the Christian Education Building.
