10:15am Sunday School for 2 years - 4 years -CE Building, Room 103
10:15am Sunday School for Kindergarten - Grade 5 - CE Building, Room 201

CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 3 IS AVAILABLE IN THE CRIBBERY beginning at 8:00a.m. for parents who are attending worship. The Cribbery is located in the lower level of the Christian Education Building.

CHILDREN'S SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL AT THE 10:00AM SERVICE : Loving Care in Cribbery for Infants and Toddlers (Birth-23 months) is available in room 104 every Sunday. Infants and toddlers may be dropped off before the worship service.

Children age 2 through 5th Grade are dismissed from the worship service for Sunday School after the Time with the Younger Church. Children ages 2-4 years go to room 103. Kindergarten through Grade 5 go to Room 201 for Awesome Adventures: God's People on the Move. Each week children will explore a biblical story about people who left their homes to faithfully follow God. A take home page invites families to be part of the adventure, too. Parents will get ideas for talking with their child about each lesson and doing follow-up activities at home.

Summer Choir continues through Sunday, August
29. We meet in the Choir Room (lower level of the Sanctuary) at 9:30 a.m. to learn a simple piece of music to help lead worship. If you have never sung in the Chancel Choir but want to sing with a choir with little time commitment - this is your group! Summer Choir is multi-generational, so please bring your children! We look forward to seeing you. Other musicians and soloists are still needed for both the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. worship services over the summer. Please speak with Jason Klein for more information.

USHERS ARE NEEDED for both the 8:00a.m. and 10:00a.m. Services through July and August. Please consider offering your time and talent. Sign up sheets are outside the Chapel (for 8a.m.) or in the Narthex (for 10a.m.) You may also contact Kim Taylor at

WE EXTEND CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY to the family of Marian Templeton, who died on July 28th. A memorial service is being planned for early August. We will notify you when the arrangements become finalized. Please keep the Templeton family in your prayers.

Rally Day Organizational/Planning Meeting! Rally Day is scheduled for Sunday, September 19th and will be here before we know it. On Tuesday, August 3, at 7p.m, there will be an organizational meeting in the Christian Lounge. Moderators personally need to attend or send a representative. If you are a commission or committee member, you are welcome to join us. If you would like to tell others about your group or sign up new members, this is the best opportunity to make it happen.

FIFTH ANNUAL MEN'S RETREAT is scheduled for January 21-23, 2011 at Harvey Cedars Retreat Center on Long Beach Island. Dr. Martin Cook, Admiral James Bond Stockdale Professor of Professional Military Ethics at the Naval War College, will lead this year's Retreat. The author of numerous books and articles, including, The Moral Warrior, Dr. Cook is one of the world's foremost authorities on ethics in war. Working to bring the Christian Just War Tradition to bear on contemporary military practice, Dr. Cook has taught or influenced many in our nation's senior military leadership and is sought out by the top military brass all over the world. He will help us think about these things as Christians.

Dr. Cook is a wonderfully engaging, knowledgeable retreat speaker. Men have responded to past retreats with comments such as, "He may be the best teacher I've ever had." "This has been one of the most stimulating weekends of my life." Mark the date! Men, you do not want to miss this!

"Theology in Service to the Church"
Monday, August 9 - Friday, August 13, 2010
Princeton Theological Seminary will be offering the original continuing education program, begun in the summer of 1942. This year's theme will be "Theology in Service to the Church," with dedicated tracks on missional theology, interdisciplinary theological approaches, and reformed theology. Participants will choose one track, which will meet daily. All participants will also be invited to plenary lectures, joint worship, and Bible studies. PCW is looking to build up our Meals Ministry! Our mission is to serve members and regular attendees of the church who need help with meals for themselves and their families for a limited period of time.
