SUNDAY SCHOOL ON MARCH 14TH:
Loving Care in Cribbery for Infants and Toddlers (Birth-23 months): Infants and toddlers may be dropped off in the Cribbery, Room 104, before the service for tender loving care while you are in worship.
Wee Believe for Two Year Olds: Twos may also be dropped off before the service in Room 103.They will enjoy Wee Believe, a program designed to nurture faith development through age-appropriate Bible stories.
Kids Discovering Worship for Three Year Olds through Fifth Grade-Classroom assignments are posted in the Christian Education Building.

ADULTS:
Lifelong Learning Opportunities are being offered at 9:00am!
TRIANGLE continues its six-week program, JUST NEIGHBORS, in the Christian Lounge. This week's topic: Does Working Work? Even full-time employment does not guarantee a successful climb out of poverty. In this session, participants consider the lives of three working families who struggle to meet their basic needs, and understand how trends and changes in employment and wages affect the families who make up the "working poor". You do not need to attend all sessions to participate - just come when you can.
QUESTERS will gather in the George Plenty Room
ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING envelopes will be in the pews beginning Sunday. Among the PC(USA) organizations designated to receive funds collected through this program is Presbyterian Disaster Assistance which has been heavily involved in providing humanitarian assistance in Haiti, Chile and around the world.
LENTEN EVENING PRAYER SERVICES
March 16th, 23rd.
As we prepare for the Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we invite you to come together on Tuesday evenings for an Evening Prayer Service with Communion Join us at 7:00pm in the Chapel for Scripture readings, music and spiritual insight.
LENTEN SUPPERS
Also on Tuesdays, we will be having LENTEN SUPPERS! Come to Assembly Hall at 6:00pm and enjoy delicious meals prepared by the Fellowship Commission!!
The menu for March 16th includes: Aunt Anne's Chicken and Rice, Candied Carrots and Cream Puffs. ($5 suggested donation.) The pairing of food and fellowship followed by prayer and Communion will make for a very nourishing evening both physically and spiritually.

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE CONGREGATION will be held Sunday, March 14, immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the Terms of Call for the pastors and to hear and act on a report from the Congregational Nominating Committee to elect Elders, Deacons, two Auditors and at-large members of the CNC. Please plan on attending.
NEW MEMBER SEMINAR!Sunday, March 14th 2010. The class will be held in the George Plenty Room from 11:30 am- 2:30 pm with a break for lunch. Please contact the church office for any questions and if you are planning on attending.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Alfred Shea who passed away on March 10th is scheduled for Sunday, March 21st, at 1:00pm in the Chapel. Interment of the cremains in the Church Cemetery will follow. Friends are invited to attend.
WHO SAYS THERE ARE NO SECOND CHANCES? The 2010 Women's Retreat has been rescheduled for March 19-21 in Stony Point NY. The cost is $200 for first timers-$225 for veterans. Sign up forms are available in the church office. Call Lee Perry (232-7232) if you have any questions.
Hygiene Kits for Haiti!
Mission Commission and PW are working together to make Hygiene Kits for Haiti which are being collected by P.D.A. to be distributed to victims of crisis and natural disasters. Please make a donation of the essential items to help our neighbors in Haiti and other places struck by disaster.
Over the course of five weeks we will be collecting according to the schedule below:
March 14-Bars of soap in original wrapper
March 21- Nail clippers (no metal files please)
March 28-Wide tooth combs and band aids
April 4- Toothbrushes in original packages
April 11-Washcloths and Hand Towels
Please bring your donations to church each Sunday and place them in the bins located in the narthex. At the end of the collection we will assemble the kits with the help from the children of the COW program. Thank you for your donations!
HANDS-ON OPPORTUNITY TO HELP WITH HAITIAN RELIEF! On Saturday, March 20th, between 11:00am and 3:00pm, volunteers from the Elizabeth Presbytery are assisting NJ4Haiti in processing donated medical supplies, clothing and food for shipment to the earthquake ravaged country. Members of PCW are encouraged to join "Presbyterian Day" at the warehouse where they need help assembling cardboard boxes, opening and sorting supplies, recording paperwork for Haitian Customs and many other tasks. The warehouse is located at 640 Dowd Avenue in Elizabeth. If you are able to join the volunteers on March 20th, RSVP to PCW Mission Coordinator, Kristin Pirich, who can answer questions and help coordinate carpools if necessary. CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 3 IS AVAILABLE IN THE CRIBBERY from 8:00am - 12:00pm for parents who are attending worship and taking classes. The Cribbery is located in the lower level of the Christian Education Building.
