Join us in worship on Sunday Morning

3 Services to Choose From

Traditional Worship

8am (Chapel)

Sunday mornings begin with an intimate gathering in the Chapel. The Chapel service fosters community by singing together and praying for each other. Starting the day together allows everyone to head out into the day encouraged by God’s word or grow deeper in a small group bible study after the service.

Traditional Worship

10am (Sanctuary)

We call this service in the Sanctuary “traditional” but what we experience here is more than that. This service will feel familiar if you grew up going to church. Most weeks the service follows the same order so you won’t feel new for long.  On Sunday mornings we see young families and some of our long- term members sitting side by side.

Contemporary Worship

10am (Westminster Hall)

This is a contemporary worship service that also starts at 10AM. It takes place in the renovated Westminster Hall space. This service includes a band, a bevy of excellent singers and utilizes technology that allows us to connect with God in a contemporary way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

There is a parking lot behind the Parish House (red brick building). If you do not find a parking space (as it usually fills up prior to worship) there is plenty of on-street parking on Mountain Avenue and East Broad Street, as well as many side streets nearby. There is also a shopper's parking lot across the street from the Sanctuary. View our campus map.

Do you have a welcome center?

We have a visitors' table in the Sanctuary Narthex (entrance to the Sanctuary) or in Westminster Hall. You may pick up a Welcome Bag containing church brochures, recent newsletters and flyers, and information about upcoming mission trips and other opportunities.

Do you have childcare?

Childcare is available for infants through 3 years old each Sunday in Room 104 (lower level of the Christian Education building), from 9AM-11AM for parents who are attending worship and taking classes. We have qualified childcare workers who are responsible for the oversight of the children and a paging system for communication with parents

What do you have for older kids?

Children's Sunday School is for children 4 years old through 5th grade.  Children are integral to our worship and our life as a congregation. Your child will begin Sunday morning in worship and most Sundays are dismissed to attend Sunday School after the "Time With The Younger Church".

Youth Sunday School for students in grades 6 through 12 begins in October and ends in May. All students meet at 9AM in the Jim Cole Room (3rd floor of Parish House).

What do people wear?

Some people will be wearing a suit and some will wear casual clothes. Everyone is encouraged to wear whatever feels comfortable.

When/how do you celebrate communion?

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to receive Communion. There are no pre-conditions or age requirements.

Is the church wheelchair accessible?

Yes! You can enter the church via the ramp in front of the Sanctuary (white building with large Spire) or through the Parish House (red brick building) which is ground level with elevator access to the 2nd and 3rd floor for the Chapel Service.
