What is The Agape Community Kitchen?
At Agape each week we serve others who are food insecure as an expression of God's love. Every week we open the doors of First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth and welcome people into a space where they can enjoy a hearty meal in a loving environment. Something that makes The Agape Community Kitchen unique is that we are a youth-led (6th-12th grade) mission of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield. We believe it is important to give young people meaningful ways to be in leadership roles through our church. With the support of a team of awesome adults, it is the students who are leading our meal service in Elizabeth each week.
