The selection for this month’s Lunch and a Movie, sponsored by the Senior Network, aims to help put you into the Holiday Spirit.  “Call Me Mrs. Miracle” will be shown on Wednesday, November 20th, in the Fred Christian Lounge of the Parish House.

No one celebrates the holidays like Emily Merkle (Doris Roberts) — or Mrs. Miracle as she is known by some.  When Mrs. Miracle appears as a seasonal employee in the toy department at the financially troubled Finley’s Department Store, neither the store’s owners, nor the customers, have any idea of the events that are about to unfold.  Just when it seemed Christmas might not come at all this year, Finely’s favorite employee proves they don’t call her Mrs. Miracle for nothing!

The film also stars Jewel Staite, Eric Johnson, and Lauren Holly.

Just bring your lunch and beverage to the Robinson Room at noon.  The movie will begin at 1pm.  Everyone is welcome.  Come for an afternon of fellowship and entertainment.  Bring a friend.
